Exhibition at the offshore event ONS 2008 – energy for one world in Stavanger, Norway

Accoat is exhibiting with its own stand at the Danish Pavilion at the Oil and Gas Exhibition ONS 2008 (Offshore Northern Seas) from 26th – 29th of August in Stavanger, Norway.

 

ONS is the leading European meeting place for the energy cluster – in the widest sense of the term. It is the 18th time the event is running. At ONS Exhibition all the oil companies, from the biggest international groups to newcomers, together with operators, contractors and suppliers from the whole value chain and generally players from the energy sector, are gathering. The exhibition takes place at the Stavanger Forum Center with 18.000 square metres of net stand space. And there is due need of the space as 1300 exhibitors from all over the world are on display and close to 40.000 professional visitors are expected to visit from almost 100 countries.

 

Additional to the ONS Exhibition there is the ONS Festival and ONS Conference. The first  mentioned a high-quality cultural event with music, dance, fireworks and this years art exhibition with the official ONS 2008 artist Morten Slettemeås. The last mentioned a global conference, where key industry leaders, policy-makers, experts and academics form all over the world will meet to present and debate their own reflections and answers to the global challenges and treats that the energy industry faces. Amongst others:

  • Access to energy resources to meet humanity’s growing requirements, particularly in developing countries
  • Protection of the environment and prevention of climate change
  • The related need for cleaner and more efficient energy technology and use
  • The continuing process of globalisation of the economy, trade and social expectations

 Accoat participates at the ONS 2008 together with 24 others suppliers to the Oil and Gas offshore sector. It is the Danish Company Tofko Business Development A/S organising for the 5th time the promotion of Danish companies who deliver products, process equipment and services to the offshore business at a global level.
