Great interest in Accoat’s energy-saving solutions at Bright Green
Accoat exhibited last weekend, the 12th & 13th of December at Bright Green in Forum, Copenhagen, Denmark. Accoat was found in the Business section, booth number 20.

The exhibition was a technical exhibition linked to UN’s Climate Conference COP15. The exhibition succeeded to attract around 15.00 people during the two days of exhibition.

Accoats’ CO2 positive cases
Accoat showcased energy-saving and CO2 positive surface solutions for the visitors. As the exhibition attracted a vast range of different people – UN delegates, scientist, business people, students and families the exhibition crew of Accoat was asked a lot of different questions: What did Accoat sell? What were coatings used for? How were Accoats’ coatings energy-saving and thereby bringing more balance? Naturally the exhibition crew discussed with enthusiasm all the raised issues from the visitors.

At Accoat, we want to do our best to help the world reduce resource consumption and one way of doing that is spreading the word about the coating solutions that are currently available and which make good business sense.

Topic of much interest: Carbon, Capture and Storage Technology
Accoat especially showcased four cases at Bright Green. The issues involved were: energy, transport, environment, and surface solutions. The visitors showed great interest in all but a lot of questions were linked to the transport issue and thereby Carbon, Capture and Storage Technology.

Accoat participate in EU’s seventh frame programme (FP7) as part of an intra-European plan to develop high-tech carbon capture and storage (CCS) solutions. The idea is to collect CO2 from areas in which it is generated and transport it to redundant oilfields deep underground. In layman’s terms; reducing CO2 emissions by storing the gas instead of releasing it into the atmosphere. Accoat’s role in the project entails significant responsibility given the fact that internal pipe surface treatments are crucial to protecting pipelines from CO2 corrosion and thus to providing secure CO2 transport to the benefit of all Europeans.

We thank you for your visit
From Accoat we would like to thanks to all of you who paid Accoat’s booth at Bright Green a visit.
