Eurocorr 09: View this years poster from Accoat

From Monday the 7th to Thursday the 10th of September Accoat attended Eurocorr 2009. This is the fourth time that Accoat is present at this major event within the field of corrosion science and engineering that takes place in Europe every year in different countries. Revenue this year was Palais de Congrés Acropolis located in Nice in France.

Poster Session
During the conference and exhibition Accoat presented its poster ‘7774 – Corrosion Protection with Fluoroplastics’ at the Poster Sessions and at coffee breaks. The Poster was presented within the subject matter ‘Coatings WP14’.

Main subjects for Accoat at Eurocorr
Naturally, the dialogue at the Accoat stand was focused on surface treatment and the advantages that are gained by using the coatings from Accoat. The number one issue was corrosion protection but also issues as lowering maintenance cost and energy savings was on the agenda. Also the issue Downhole Production Tubing was up as it is by now commonly known that Accoat in cooperation with DuPont is the applicator of StreaMaxTM, internal pipe coating, in the North Sea region. Evidently, the poster also was a much discussed topic and copies of the poster were quickly ‘sold out’.
