Accoat lectured at DuPont’s special event ’Managing corrosion with Teflon®’ at the Achema congress. The lecture was prepared in collaboration with Total and was presented by Accoat Tuesday 19 June.

The exhibition Achema is one of the greatest exhibitions on chemical engineering and biotechnolgy, where Congress Achema has roughly 900 lectures that reflect the whole variety of technologies in process industries.  

The event took place in Frankfurt, Germany from 18-22. June 2012.

Lecture: Fluoropolymer coatings in harsh environemnts

The presentation that was presented shared experiences gained in coating a stainless steel pipe system at the TOTAL refinery plant in Donges, France, where the pipe system was coated in Denmark by Accoat.

Additional information was provided about the joint efforts of DuPont and Accoat to prevent corrosion within the oil and gas industry using coating technology StreaMax™. This coating technology provides flow solutions in another type of pipe systems: downhole production tubulars.

The lecture was prepared by Reservoir Inspector Mr. Jean Moisan from Total, Donges in France together with product specialist and Area Manager Mr. Niels Christensen Melgaard from Accoat and Area Manager Mrs. Helle G. Brouzes from Accoat
